"At the bottom right, the always last words of the sentences in the prose poem Le Demon de l'Analogie by Stéphane Mallarmé: Absurd, Bedeutung, Verschieden, Persönlichkeit, Tod, Qual (Absurd, Meaning, Different, Personality, Death, Agony). Above this, a bundle of electric wires held together by clamps disappears into a plastered hole in the wall of the room in the Hamburg Zippelhaus, where the film Demon was shot. Architectural details of Palacio d'Abraxas by Riccardo Bofill in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines near Paris, 1982, as they appear in the film, The Holy Bunch - La Sainte Famille. Erected as the "Versailles of the People", a Potemkin heaven of the social welfare state, in which Klaus Behnken and John Erdman, as the angels Roy and Jon, sing to the music of Nikolaus Utermöhlen the choral Innsbruck, ich muß dich lassen. In the background, the chest, the right armpit and the head of the oxidized bronze man on the tombstone of Georges Rodenbach in Paris.
